Privacy Policy

Laurel Oak Services, LLC (“Laurel Oak,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through laureloakfl.com, how we use and disclose it, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you request an estimate or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, service address, service requested, preferred communication method, and any comments or other information you include in your message.

If you become a customer, we may also maintain service, scheduling, communication, payment, and business-record information needed to provide and document our services.

Information Collected Through Website Technologies

Depending on your region, browser privacy signals, and cookie choices, our website and service providers may collect pages viewed and actions taken, referring-page or campaign information, browser and device information, approximate location derived from an Internet Protocol (IP) address, cookie or browser identifiers, consent choices, security information, and diagnostic information.

2. How We Use Information

  • Respond to estimate requests and questions
  • Schedule, provide, and support our services
  • Communicate about requested or active services
  • Protect the website and estimate form against spam, fraud, and abuse
  • Understand website use and measure marketing activity where permitted
  • Maintain business, tax, insurance, and legal records
  • Comply with applicable law and protect our rights

3. Estimate Form and WPForms

Our estimate form is provided through WPForms. It currently requests your name, email address, phone number, service needed, preferred communication method, address, and an optional message. Submissions are stored in WordPress and sent by email to Laurel Oak so we can respond.

Please do not include sensitive personal information that is not needed for your estimate or service request.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website separates technologies into Functional, Preferences, Statistics, and Marketing categories. Consent behavior depends on a coarse regional classification:

  • Confirmed United States visitors: Statistics and Marketing technologies may operate by default unless a saved opt-out or recognized privacy signal applies. The banner provides Accept All and Cookie Settings, where optional categories can be disabled.
  • Non-US or undetermined visitors: Optional categories remain denied until the visitor chooses through Accept All, Reject Optional, or Manage Preferences.
  • Recognized privacy signals: When Global Privacy Control or a respected Do Not Track signal is present, optional categories remain denied and Cookie Settings remains available.

The site receives only a coarse US or strict classification from Cloudflare for this purpose. The Laurel Oak consent bridge does not return or store an IP address or exact non-US country in browser preferences. If the classification request fails, the stricter denied-default behavior applies.

Functional and Security Technologies

Functional technologies help operate the website, remember your consent choice, protect forms, and provide requested features. These include WordPress, hosting and security functions, WPForms, and consent-management cookies.

The estimate form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent spam and abuse. Turnstile may process device, browser, interaction, and IP-address information for security purposes. Cloudflare’s processing is governed by its Privacy Policy and Website and Online Services Terms. Blocking Turnstile may prevent a successful form submission.

Statistics — Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 through Google Site Kit to understand how visitors use the website. For confirmed US visitors without a saved opt-out or recognized privacy signal, Analytics may operate by default and may set cookies including _ga and _ga_57KK79KZFE. For non-US, undetermined, opted-out, or recognized-signal visitors, Analytics storage remains denied unless an applicable choice permits it.

Google Analytics may process page activity, device and browser information, referral information, approximate location, and cookie identifiers. When Analytics storage is denied, Google Consent Mode may still send limited cookieless measurement pings with denied consent signals. These pings do not use Analytics cookies, but they may transmit limited page, device, and consent-state information to Google. Google retains information according to our account settings and its own policies.

Marketing — Meta Pixel

We use the Meta Pixel to measure website activity associated with our outreach and advertising. For confirmed US visitors without a saved opt-out or recognized privacy signal, Meta Pixel may operate by default and may set the _fbp cookie. For non-US, undetermined, opted-out, or recognized-signal visitors, Meta remains blocked unless an applicable choice permits it.

Meta may receive page activity, browser and device information, IP-derived information, and identifiers such as _fbp, and may use this information according to its Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

5. Your Cookie Choices

US visitors can accept the current settings or use Cookie Settings to disable Statistics or Marketing. Non-US and undetermined visitors can accept all optional technologies, reject them, or choose individual categories through the strict consent banner.

If you withdraw Statistics or Marketing permission, the website stops the related optional processing and removes known first-party Google Analytics and Meta cookies where supported. Technologies controlled by third parties may also be subject to those providers’ settings and retention practices.

Consent choices are generally remembered for up to 365 days unless you clear browser storage or change your selection sooner.

6. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate the website and business, including website hosting, WordPress, security, backup, WPForms, email-delivery, Google, Meta, and professional advisers. We may also disclose information to insurers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary or legally required.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some state privacy laws may define disclosures for advertising measurement as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” even when no money is exchanged. Confirmed US visitors can use Cookie Settings or a recognized privacy signal to disable optional Marketing and Statistics technologies.

7. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to requests, providing services, maintaining required business records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal, tax, insurance, or security obligations. Google, Meta, Cloudflare Turnstile, hosting, and other service providers retain information according to their own settings and policies.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; or to withdraw consent. To make a privacy request, contact us using the information below. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where required or permitted by law.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
